Sandra came to Dentistry on the Square having issues with several teeth which had become wobbly and were affecting both her speech and ability to eat.

We discussed several options but we both felt that the best long-term solution was to have full arch dental implants placed to replace her upper teeth, and a single implant to replace a single molar tooth on the bottom jaw.

We performed our Pain-Free ‘Same Day Smiles’ Implant Treatment to replace the failing teeth with 6 implants in the upper jaw – these implants initially held in a fixed full arch temporary bridge for a couple of months during healing time.

This was then replaced with a custom made Ultimate Implant Bridge with Ceramic Teeth to give the optimal aesthetics and function to achieve Sandra’s dream smile.

The day of I was a little bit scared but I felt nothing. No pain at all. Everything was fine, I had no issues after. Everything was really good. Everybody’s wonderful, really friendly and kind.

For David we first looked at getting things stable. This involved seeing Amy Jackson for hygiene phase therapy to get on top of his gum health as well as upgrading old and failing fillings, ensuring David was “dentally fit” to move onto teeth straightening and cosmetic work.

I had a lot of bad experiences before at the dentist, so the introduction was helpful and Dawn was really helpful. The videos on the website of dentists talking about the procedures really helped because I had a lot of nerves.

There was no pain, the injections don’t hurt and nothing was uncomfortable, which was surprising. I didn’t even feel a little scratch.

I’m smiling more now and my confidence has improved.

David

After our initial assessment of Joan’s smile we discovered that her main concerns were overlapping front teeth with her upper left incisor looking discoloured and she felt her canines were like “fangs”.

We put a plan together involving orthodontics to straighten the teeth and improve the bite – for this we chose to use clear aligners so that the “braces” wouldn’t be too noticeable during the straightening process.

We then planned for composite bonding veneers on 8 upper front teeth to finish off the smile.

Joan first saw Amy who completed her hygiene treatment and a white composite filling to ensured everything was perfectly healthy before we went ahead with our orthodontic plan. Then, after 10 months of clear aligners we had the teeth in the correct position and ready for some whitening before our composite bonding makeover.

I love getting to know my patient’s throughout their treatment journeys here at DOTS and when you click with a patient it just makes the whole process so much more fun. Joan was a pleasure to work with and so happy we could give her the smile she always wanted!

Craig came to see us at DOTS as he was unhappy with the appearance of his teeth where he felt they were really crowded and crooked as well as having some old veneers and a denture he wasn’t happy with.

This was really affecting his confidence day-to-day and he felt he had to hide his teeth when dealing with clients at work and was becoming more self-conscious when seeing his teeth during online meetings/calls.

We made a plan to correct the crowding and improve his bite as well as creating space to ensure the new veneers had a better shape and size compared to the old ones which were too narrow for the smile.

This not only allowed for an improved final aesthetic but also helps with the longevity of the final restorations.After 12-18 months of aligners we then whitened the teeth before providing a new cosmetic partial denture and placing 2 porcelain veneers on his upper lateral incisors.

I am now towards the end of my treatment and I cannot be more satisfied with the exceptional level of care and service. Huge thank you to Andy for being so good throughout the process!
