I got my teeth treatment done by Andy McIntyre at Dentistry on the square and could not recommend the experience more! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Initially I attended a free consult to understand what options were available to achieve a dream... smile. I really appreciated that staff never pressurised me into making any decisions regarding picking a treatment. After having some time to think I decided to go ahead with teeth straightening (Invisalign) and whitening. There was lots of different payment plans offered.I am now at the last stages of my treatment and am very happy with the results. Andy is extremely talented in his craft and he could not have been better at listening and explaining everything to me. I had lots of other staff interactions during my treatment and everyone at the practice was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. They always went above and beyond to help in any way.I am very grateful that I picked this practice for my treatment and I will continue to use the D.O.T.S for my follow up dentistry & orthodontic treatment in the future. My friend highly recommended DOTS. As a nervous patient I took advantage of the free consultation and immediately felt relaxed by the friendly staff. After speaking to Jamie and being advised what I could achieve I was excited to get started. I was getting new veneers and a crown, due to past bad... experiences within dentists I was anxious. I can honestly say there was no pain, and whilst you attend any long appointments your mind is distracted by watching a good movie via the headset. Jamie was very knowledgeable and professional I felt in safe hands. Amy was great too, reminding me of good dental hygiene and whitening information. My treatment so far at Dentistry on the Square has been wonderful. I am seeing both Alison and Jamie for a smile makeover and both of them have put me at ease throughout with their compassion, professionalism and knowledge. I knew at consultation I had made the correct choice. Alison is an artist... with amazing attention to detail. She put me at ease as we chatted through my options and we decided on the best plan together.I currently live in South Wales but It is worth the travel to ensure I receive the highest quality of care and treatment. Reception have been great at creating a timeline for my appointments to dates and time that suit me.I was absolutely terrified attending my first appointment for an extraction which was the first step in the dental implant process. Before I even got to the clinic I received a comfort menu where I was able to choose products to make me feel more comfortable. I had left my headphones at home and was delighted when that was one of the choices. Alison kindly came out to greet me in reception and introduced me to Jamie who would be starting the implant. Jamie immediately relieved my anxiety with his calm demeanour and he ensured me it would be pain free and that’s exactly what it was. The dental nurse was lovely and supported me throughout. I was given aftercare advice and shown how to use my new plate before leaving.I left the clinic feeling silly I had been so scared. I begin the next part of the process next week and I will have the confidence to walk in and know I will be in safe hands. I can’t wait to see the end result.read more

I have been attending DOTS since late 2021 to have work completed on fixing my crooked teeth. From the moment I attended for consultation and hygiene work to then working with Andy to compete all the prep work, fit my aligners, attend my follow up appointments and all the way through to having my... aligners remover, the service has been exceptional. Sophie who reteaches you how to look after your teeth and gums properly. The amazing Alison followed me right through my Invisalign treatment from my very first appointment to my last. She is so friendly, helpful and approachable, not to mention an amazing dentist. Everything was explained in great detail before work was done and different options were always given throughout my treatment. The treatment really was pain free as advertised and added comfort options such as dvd goggles and noise cancelling headphones helped relax me as I got the more lengthy work done. I hadn’t seen a dentist in a couple of year due to covid. I had loose teeth, 2 were hanging down at the front! I pulled a molar out with my hands it was so loose. I went to DOTS for an assessment after a couple of family member recommended them. I had a scan shortly after and discovered I had... massive bone loss and some gum loss too. I was talked through all my options and decided on implants. I had all my upper teeth removed, bone reconstruction and 5 implants inserted. A LOT of work! All of this was absolutely and totally PAIN FREE. I was a wee bit skeptical about that statement as I have had a few awful dental experiences in the past. However , it was very true! I used to be afraid to smile as I was so self conscious about my loose teeth, eating was also a chore - having to choose soft options for fear of a tooth coming out. I now have an implant bridge and can smile as widely as a I like - and eat whatever I fancy! Not just the soft option! My treatment has been flawless! And every step has been discussed and explained! Every member of staff is very friendly and professional. I used to dread dentist appointments! Now I weirdly look forward to them! I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!! So, i am part way through my treatment but felt that im so impressed with DOTS that i really needed to do a wee review already!
From the moment i made my first (panicky...i need help with a dental disaster....imagine princess leia -help me obi-wan kenobi, youre my only hope....message 🤣)... phonecall to the practice until today where ive had some stitches removed after my implant placement, ive had nothing short of first class service!
Both Peter and Jamie have been the epitome of professionalism and i can't wait to continue my new year new teeth journey with them.
For anyone looking to get some dental work done....you would be hard pushed to find a better practice.....a definite 10 out of 10 from me.read more
