Peter graduated from University of Glasgow and has worked in dental practices in Glasgow and Falkirk before joining the team at Dentistry on The Square. Peter enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a specific interest in restorative/cosmetic treatments. Using his artistic skills to help improve a patient’s smile and self-confidence is what he enjoys most about dentistry.

Peter strives to provide the highest standard of care while allowing patients to feel as relaxed and at ease as possible during their dental treatment. Peter has undergone extensive post graduate training throughout the UK in both aesthetics and restorative dentistry and is committed to incorporating the most up-to-date techniques into his daily practice. He is able to provide cosmetic orthodontics and clear aligner treatments using the latest digital technology to ensure predictable treatment outcomes.

Outside of dentistry Peter enjoys spending time with his little girl and is a keen cyclist.

Outside of work Nial enjoys traveling and is a sports fan, in particular watching and playing football. Occasionally he can be found on a golf course, but is very much the definition of a ‘fair-weather golfer.

Nial enjoys spending time getting to know patients enabling trust to be built, in order to help them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles, in a relaxed and caring, pain free environment.

Nial graduated from University of Glasgow with commendation, and has worked in practices in Lanarkshire and Glasgow. He has worked for the Pain Free Group since 2015.

Nial is one of the youngest people in the UK who has a Masters degree in Endodontology (Root Canal Treatment). This post graduate degree ensures that patients can have the most advanced knowledge and skills applied to an area of dentistry which typically people are wary of.

Nial hopes that these additional skills will help eliminate the stigma and fear surrounding root canal treatment, thus ensuring patients enjoy the treatment in the most pain free way. As a result of this further training, Nial also accepts referrals from other dentists.

Katie graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2019 and completed a further years vocational training in Glasgow. Katie carries out a range of treatments from periodontal treatment to restorations and paediatric dentistry. She has a passion for working with dentally anxious patients to make them feel at ease in the dental environment. Katie also carries out non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments and continues to participate in regular CPD courses. Katie is currently undertaking a diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry. Out of work Katie enjoys spending time with her dog Dexter, and going on holidays with friends.

Amy Jackson graduated from The Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow in 2007. Amy is passionate about working with you to treat and prevent gum disease and tooth decay. She is particularly interested in the treatment of advanced gum disease and providing cosmetic white fillings. Amy also provides a range of facial aesthetics including injectables and medical grade skin care. A former DCP of the year (Scotland and UK), Amy has a role educating other professionals as a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona, which has seen her travel to Germany and the USA and provide global training with their Academy programme as well as providing courses and lectures at a more local level.

She has written for several publications including; Dentistry Magazine, DH and T Journal, Dentistry Scotland and Primary Dental Journal.

Amy has travelled to Morocco with Dental Mavericks charity to provide care for children in dental pain who would not otherwise be able to access dentistry.

Outside of the practice, Amy teaches yoga and, along with her husband Andrew, enjoys family life with their two young daughters.

Awards: Highly commended DCP 2012 Dentistry Scotland Awards, Winner Best DCP Scotland at the Dentistry Awards 2013, Highly Commended Best DCP UK the Dentistry Awards 2013, Winner Young DH&T of the year 2014, Winner Dental Therapist of the Year at the Probe awards 2015.

I have always worked in the private sector of dentistry which has helped my knowledge of the best standard of care and treatment planning. I moved role to Treatment Coordinator in 2018 for the Pain Free Dentistry Group.

This has been one of the best things I have ever done, building relationships with patients and finding out about the emotional side from the beginning and growing with the patients along their journey in the practice is fantastic.
