When Margaret first came to see us, her main concern was the position and appearance of one of her upper teeth, which sat behind her front teeth.

Previous treatment elsewhere had improved things slightly with a veneer, but Margaret still felt unhappy with the tooth’s position and colour.

She was also conscious that her front teeth appeared slanted to one side. After seeing Pain Free Dentist Andy, they planned a treatment journey focused on creating a straighter, brighter, and naturally balanced smile.

The first step was improving gum health with several sessions of hygiene phase therapy with our hygiene therapist, Katie.

Once Margaret’s gums were healthy and stable again, we moved forward with clear aligners. Over approximately 10 months, the clear aligners gently repositioned the upper tooth and corrected the angulation of the front teeth to create a more harmonious smile and bite.

To complete the transformation, Andy carefully planned composite bonding for the 6 upper front teeth to enhance symmetry, proportions, and overall aesthetics. Margaret was able to preview and approve her smile design before treatment even began.
