Iain’s journey at Dentistry on the Square began after he contacted our team for help when he noticed some issues with his dental health.

He also wished to explore the options available to him to improve his smile as he had recently become self-conscious about the colour and appearance of his teeth.

Iain was looking for a complete Smile Makeover but asked us to create a bright, but natural looking smile for him.

Iain started his journey at Dentistry on the Square by attending for a full implant assessment where he discussed his current dental issues and concerns, together with his hopes and wishes for a natural looking but brighter smile in a healthy mouth. A thorough examination was completed using some of the most modern dental technologies and a treatment plan was created and explained to Iain with all costs outlined fully.

Initially, two teeth which could not be repaired were extracted and allowed to heal for a 3-month period during which one of our wonderful hygiene therapists worked with Iain to improve his oral hygiene measures and gum health. Two dental implants were placed and allowed to heal for an 8 week period to allow for them to bind to the surrounding bone.

Tooth whitening was carried out to brighten the lower natural teeth before a combination of bespoke ceramic crowns and veneers were placed on the upper teeth to create a symmetrical and more aesthetically pleasing smile.

Iain has now joined our award-winning ‘Pain-Free Plan’ in order to maintain his oral health and make sure his implants are checked on a regular basis.
