Gillian first came to see Andy due to concerns about her worn front teeth as well as the gaps at the upper right side bothering her. She also had some broken teeth and fillings needing done. Previous experiences at the dentist had left her dentally anxious, particularly at the thought of any pain during treatments.

The Treatment

After a thorough full assessment appointment, they put together a plan to address her main concerns, this covered everything from dental health issues related to gums and fillings required, to the more cosmetic side of things.

Gillian first saw our fantastic dental therapist Amy to take care of her gums as well as sort out broken teeth and old fillings with new cosmetic composite fillings. This was followed by root canal treatments with Nial to resolve infections present and improve old root canal treatments that were not ideal.

At this point, Gillian was now “dentally fit” to go ahead with cosmetic work. This involved improving the bite and aligning the teeth with Andy using Invisalign aligners to provide space for cosmetic bonding on the front teeth. Gillian was an ideal patient with excellent compliance using her aligners, thanks to this we completed the orthodontic work in just 6 months! This was followed by a period of tooth whitening.

To resolve the gaps on the upper right side, Gillian saw our implant dentist Jamie Kerr who placed 2 implants which were then restored with Andy, placing a bridge with 3 teeth on it to fill the gaps and give Gillian back function to enjoy eating properly again.

The smile transformation was finished off with composite bonding on 6 upper front teeth!

I have to say Wow. I had root canal treatment over 35 years ago on my tooth and today I had an appointment with Niall as it was infected, for a further root canal treatment. I have to say I was dreading it. How wrong was I. Niall was lovely calm and explained what he was going to do. Some of my appointments were long due... to the treatment I was getting however they were pain free and went in quickly. For every appointment I was able to pick two items from a comfort menu such as a back massager and eye mask. This helped so much and helped me relax.

Cannot recommend the Team highly enough, I lost a front tooth, after some consultation on the best route it was decided to put an implant in. I was very worried that the implant would look out of place as it was at the front, however it is so good you cannot tell which one of my front teeth is the... implant. Also have been carrying infection in another tooth for many years, again Dareen, Jamie and Jamie have dealt with this brilliantly for me and I no longer have pain and a lovely new implant. I went in and spoke to Elaine who talked through all the available treatments, how each... one works and the different payment options too.
